Cherokee County History and Arts Museum

Gaffney, South Carolina

The History Workshop developed exhibits for the Cherokee County History and Arts Museum in South Carolina. Exhibits tell visitors about the county's history, starting with its earliest Native American residents. The Revolutionary War exhibit, featuring a large mural, shows the county's pivotal role in turning the tide of the war. Additional exhibits teach visitors about rural life, geology, industry, and the region's importance in the development of stock car racing.
