Poplar Grove Exhibit

Charleston, South Carolina

People have lived on the land that is now Poplar Grove from the earliest days of the establishment of the Carolina Colony. Archaeological investigations uncovered a number of architectural features and artifacts associated with the Lowndes family plantation. The History Workshop developed two large shadow box style cases for the sales office that provided a secure venue for the presentation of information panels and artifacts.
