Sunbury Outdoor Signs
Liberty County, Georgia

Sunbury was the second largest town in Georgia, with a trade market that rivaled Savannah. After the Revolutionary War, the city declined and never recovered. Today, all that remains of Sunbury is a cemetery and portions of a historic road. The History Workshop worked with the Liberty County Development Authority and local groups to design a series of outdoor interpretive panels detailing this segment of Georgia's history.
