Vogel State Park
Blairsville, Georgia
Components: Interpretive panels
Vogel State Park, located in Blairsville, Georgia, is one of many parks throughout the Unites States with a history related to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). After constructing a new museum building, staff decided to focus their exhibit on the CCC involvement in the development of this park. The History Workshop provided eight large format photographic panels to enhance the interpretive exhibit on display. These historic images capture a variety of CCC camp activity areas including a mess hall, a woodworking shop, the barracks, and general camp scenes.
